Filming continues on Series 7 of Doctor Who and shooting has been taking place at another familiar location – Southerndown Beach.

The spot was most memorably used in the show as Bad Wolf Bay in the Army of Ghosts finale with David Tennant.

It also featured as Alfava Metraxis in The Time of Angels two-parter, coincidentally the first full episode Matt Smith shot.

We can probably safety assume that the location is posing as somewhere new. Present day earth based on Williams’ presence perhaps. Unless he takes a trip in the TARDIS…

No sight of Gillan.
